Our churches have been used as places to worship God for many hundreds of years and are at the very centre of the communities surrounding them. They are steeped in a rich and diverse history, which is seen in the stories of the people who attend our churches today: The regular congregations, the visitors, the couples who choose to marry, the babies who are baptised and the funerals and memorials for those who have passed on to eternal life. Our churches are part of our communities and our communities are fundamental to Valle Crucis Mission Area.
The churches within Valle Crucis Mission Area offer the provision of public worship, including the occasional offices of baptisms, funerals and weddings; pastoral visiting in private homes and residential homes and in connection with the occasional offices; leading of school assemblies and services in both schools and church buildings; the provision of places of pilgrimage, quiet reflection, prayer, and social and cultural events. All of our churches reach out to their communities and offer a range of activities and services to enhance well-being.
