St Trillo’s Church, Llandrillo Heritage Event

St Trillo’s Church held a Heritage Event in church on Sunday 27 July 2025. It was a well-attended event and very successful. Many turned up to look at the church records, give their thoughts on future work to the church and to enjoy each other's company and the cakes! You’ll find a few photos, as follows.

St Derfel and the Music Maker

Here are two YouTube links to some lovely local music which was recorded in St Derfel Church over the recent October half term.

The pieces are by Julian Rees, who is a local schoolteacher and mandolin player. He has written a book entitled: 'Welsh Airs & Dance Tunes for Mandolin' which has just been published by Mel Bay and is based on the work of harpist Edward Jones, born in Llandderfel in 1752.
